If you have a sweet tooth, there's a new place to indulge.
The inaugural Toronto Baker’s Market is launching as a monthly event series that celebrates and showcases scrumptious sweets, delectable treats, and made-with-love baked goods.
Starting Sunday, June 26, the market will bring together 25 vendors from a variety of baking and treat backgrounds — think French macarons and cakes to organic bread, vegan and raw goodies.
"The Toronto Bakers Market is all about bringing people together over baked goodness, savoury and sweet treats," says Jayne Ambler of Toronto Bakers Market. "It's an opportunity to introduce people to new bakers and vendors and also showcase some of the city's best, and well-known bakeries and chefs."
Toronto Bakers Market runs noon to 4 p.m. at Ralph Thornton Community Centre at 765 Queen St. E. The market will also be held Sunday, July 24, Sunday Aug. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 18.
Admission is free, but you'll want cash on hand to bring home a haul of goodies.
