Looking for something to do on a cold, wintry day? The Leslieville Flea is heading indoors as it holds its first market of the new year at the Distillery District on Sunday, Jan. 15.
Making its return for the winter season at the Fermenting Cellar, the open space inside the historic stone building will showcase select market vendors on the third Sunday of the month from January to April.
"With 50-plus vendors and all kinds of unique finds, the Leslieville Flea is a great way to spend a chilly Sunday," says Leslieville Flea organizer Brigid Elmy.
The curated market, which features vintage, salvaged, up-cycled goods, furniture, antiques and collectibles, also has an online shop where you can check out what vendors are bringing before the event. You can also purchase online and pick up at the flea or have the item shipped.
The Leslieville Flea kicks off Sunday Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fermenting Cellar, 55 Mill St., and will also be held Feb. 19, March 19 and April 23 at the same time and location. Admission is free.
