Local beer drinkers have a lot to cheers about these days with the influx of micro-breweries, brewpubs and craft beer-focused eateries launching in Toronto's east end.
This summer, there's another reason to raise a cold one: The Art of Craft Beer, a "multi-sensory beer experience that pairs the best in craft beer label art with the best in craft beer," is returning to Leslieville.
More than 2000 people attended the first edition, which is being held once again on the lawns of Ashbridge Estate.
The free and kid-friendly event features craft beer, food, music and an art expo. There will be a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Sketch, a not-for-profit organization engaging street-involved youth through the arts.
The event, which runs from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., has yet to announce the lineup of participating brewers and food vendors.
