Supercar Sunday to showcase exotic cars in Riverside

Supercar Sunday, an exotic supercar showcase raising funds for the Women’s College Hospital is set to take place on Aug. 21 in Riverside.

The event which will feature more than 100 of the world's finest high-performance cars including models from Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Porsche and Lotus to name a few.

"Riverside is going to be bustling with engine revs and flashy cars," says Sharon Kim of BMW. "The event is meant to gather car enthusiasts, fast cars, and the community, and all proceeds go to the Women's College Hospital."

The event kicks off with a supercar rally at 10 a.m. at the BMW Toronto dealership at 11 Sunlight Park Rd., which is at the foot of Broadview Ave. at Eastern Ave.

The day continues from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with all of the exotic rides on display. Supercar Sunday will include refreshments, photo opportunities, vendor tents, entertainment, live music, and family-friendly activities.

Admission is $5 at the door and $50 for a VIP entrance. Kids under two are free. Check out supercarsunday.ca for more info.
