Leslieville is getting its very own block party. The inaugural Leslieville Beer Fest is set to take over Dundas St. E from Logan Ave. to Carlaw Ave. on Aug. 27 all in the name of beer and community.

Anchored by neighbourhood cafe-bar Dundas and Carlaw, the Leslieville Beer Fest will showcase 16 regional and local brewers sampling over 50 beers, plus five food vendors and various artisans.

Beau's, Collective Arts Brewery, Muddy York Brewing and Leslieville newcomer Radical Road Brewing Co., are some of the featured breweries taking part in the event. Neighbourhood staples like The Real Jerk and Loaded Pierogi will be serving food and part of the event will feature local artisans as well.

A $20 ticket includes entry into the event, plus a commemorative sampling mug and three beer sampling tokens.
