The tastes and experiences of Toronto's east end will be celebrated during an upcoming food and drink showcase.

The Leslieville Food & Drink Festival is back and an aims to spotlight the community by promoting local talents — from chefs and sommeliers to artists and musicians — and the local businesses that support them.

The second annual event, which is being organized by Christiane Tetreault of The VandenBerg House, will feature gourmet food, craft beer, wine and cocktails from over 40 restaurants, breweries and other local businesses.

The festival will have a food market, wine pairing seminars, and a silent auction and raffle with all proceeds supporting Michael Garron Hospital. There will also be live musical performances.

Leslieville Food & Drink Festival is taking place at District 28 on May 6 from 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit the event page. Advance tickets are $20/$30 (VIP).
