Although it's not the most popular restaurant around, it's sure hard to miss Celline Garden at corner of Queen and Carlaw. Its blue sign and faded yellow exterior have been a Leslieville landmark for the last 20 years as the neighbourhood has changed all around it.
But it's now bowing out of the "Chinese and Canadian" cuisine game and closing its doors this week for the last time.
According to Spring Realty, the owners of East Side Social are giving the space a makeover and will be opening a pub in its place. Details are vague but word on the street is that it will carry an east coast theme with authentic donairs being featured on the menu.
