Revered Canadian brewmaster Luc "Bim" Lafontaine is set to start the golden taps on an expansive brew pub in Toronto's east end, according to Ben Johnson of Ben's Beer Blog.

Lafontaine, who previously headed up famed Quebec brewery Dieu du Ciel!, has taken keys to a 6,000 square-foot space at Coxwell and Gerrard.

The brew pub will have seating for 140 including a kitchen and bottle shop, while nearly 3,000 square-feet will be dedicated to the brewery floor.

An opening is expected before the end of 2016. Check out Ben's Beer Blog for more info.
